Anyone know how to re-enable the mouse on Windows XP? I did something stupid |
|
I was playing on my computer and looking at the settings and hardware, and accidentally clicked the "disable mouse" option. Now, my mouse doesn't work. Since it doesn't work, I don't know how to get back to the mouse hardware options menu to re-enable the mouse. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

(it looks like the Windows icon - four squares in a waving flag) and then use the arrow keys to select Control Panel in the Start Menu. Use the arrow keys to move to the Mouse control panel and hit enter. Then arrow around in there to find the proper control. Use the spacebar to select a checkbox.

if they use a USB keyboard (not PS2). Restart their computer and go into the BIOS and disable USB and USB Keyboard settings if it/they exist.
Cruel but funny. In the worst case they will have to flash their BIOS to get it working again.
