Why must food be so tasty?
If it wasn't, I'd be a hell of a lot skinnier!

2. That's true
but then I'd only eat out of sheer necessity. Enough to stay alive.

I had a roommate who really didn't like food so she ate healthy things like lean grilled meats and vegetables along with 12 cups of green tea a day. Unfortunately, she also stopped menstruating for a while.

3. She sounds anorexic. Not good.
Being skinny isn't everything. I'm a lot happier now 40 pounds overweight than I was in a
bad marriage with a "better" figure.

5. but when you live in California
there are so many things to try besides Denny's. and yet so many women around here are so slim. i know a lot of them smoke to suppress their appetite.

6. Doesn't help if you're like me
:) . I mean, how many times do you really say "I'm hungry" versus "GotDamn, Ho-Hos sound really good. . ."

7. that's the case with me also
i don't smoke so i'm not sure how it works. but i'm wondering if it ruins the taste buds in addition to suppressing appetite, maybe it's related.

with me it's more about wanting to eat good tasting food rather than just satisfying hunger also. sometimes i have a craving and even if i eat something else and am not hungry anymore, i can't get over the craving.
