So I "braved the cold" and went to a local library today
and lo and behold, there was Jim Hightower's book, "Thieves in High Places" prominently displayed. And yes, I snagged it quickly. Have any of you out there read it? Is it as funny and informative as Franken's last book? If so, it should be immensly enjoyable. Also checked out a book entitled, "Party of the People", which is a history of the Democratic Party. So let it be cold, I'm gonna read. And since my sister is a supervisor at another local library, I think I'll talk to her about trying to get William Pitt's book. Its good to know people in high places.
