Parents - when did your kids start losing their baby teeth? |
|
My 4 1/2 year old daughter discovered she had loose teeth yesterday - she was very excited. So, I looked into her mouth and - sure enough - she has two teeth pushing their way through. I'm sure until they fall out now, she'll be putting her fingers into her mouth all the time now
But, I'm pretty sure that 4 1/2 is early for starting to get your permanent teeth, though she got her first baby teeth very early as well (I think at 3 months - the doctor had said that was early, but not unusually early)

1. none for LK yet- he's 6 1/2 |
|
I've talked to him about it though so he won't freak out. A few weeks ago he got shampoo in his eye and was sure he was going blind, so anything I can do to keep him from getting overly dramatic is probably a good idea.
I'm sure it'll be any day now.
4 1/2 does seem really early.
FWIW, he got his first two teeth at 4 mos.

any time she has even the slightest scratch, she demands a band-aid...
and, last week, when I was home alone, I dropped something on my leg and got a pretty good cut, so I went looking for a band-aid to put on my cut and realized that all we had in the house were Princess band-aids and Snoopy band-aids.

8. I tried Snoopy at first |
|
But, that kept falling off, so I had to use the Princess ones. So, I had a big pink bandaid on the back of my calf.

I've heard that early teethers are often early losers. Noel cut his first two teeth right after he turned four months old.
It sounds normal to me.
