Apparently newsman George Putnam was one of the biggest names in the Homosexual Bashing community, and this lovely film, entitled "Don't Ask Don't Tell" (it was made for the military, and there are lots of manly images of Our Fighting Men In Uniform Blowing Shit Up (tm) before we get to the meat of the piece) explains how reading "Physique Magazines" will draw you directly into the Perverted Lifestyle from which there is no escape.

He made a similar film entitled Perversion for Profit. It's basically the same film, except without Our Fighting Men In Uniform Blowing Shit Up.

True story- I'm at Whole Paycheck this weekend buying some groceries and they have about a zillion magazines by the registers, so I'm looking to see if they have anything interesting (they don't.)

I notice one of those sort of things (which one? Fuck if I know.) and think to myself "oh my, that's unattractive." Followed by "hey, wait a minute" and some sort of mental equivalent to the blue screen of death. I had to think about it a minute once the brain rebooted and I think it's the absence of a subcutaneous fat layer- well that and the leathery tan- that makes those guys look so f'n gross.
