I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. My tendonitis had relaxed over the long weekend. I get in the shower and go to wash my hair and *YANK*, I made my shoulder tendons hurt again.
Get dressed, come to work. Everything's fine, just sore from my shoulder.
Fast forward to 12:15 PM I go to answer the phone. Somehow I smack my coffee mug and spill coffee all over the keyboard, both Monitors, Mouse, and desk. It is under the monitor stands, so everytime I wipe more comes out. Try using the paper towels at my desk, they are not absorbing the coffee, just pushing it around.
I go to the bathroom and grab large handfuls of paper towels from in there. And stop by the maid's closet and grab some cleaning solution to clean up the sticky.
The phone keeps ringing, I am trying to answer it and clean at the same time. I think "cool I am getting it cleaned up." Then I move my keyboard and more pours out. GRRR!!!
So now I turn to the cleaning stuff and start spraying it. It does not come out the nozzle just runs out from under the lid(it is one of those big trigger lid thingies.) So I pop the trigger thinging off to see if it is clogged. Works just fine, so I pop the lid back on, push the trigger, nothing. Look at it, the plastic aerosol part fell out. Can't find it, finally discover it had fallen in my lap.
Take the lid off put the nozzle back on, and go to put the lid back on, have to look at it to make sure it is lining up. THE DAMN THING SHOT ME IN THE FACE!
So I finally get everything cleaned up. Don't feel sticky stuff anymore. Go wash my face, come back go to use my mouse, it does not move, ARRRGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!
Look at the optic part, and in cleaning the under side I have broken a part off, so it can not cleary read what the movement is. Go looking for another mouse, Luckily we have some extras we snuck away from IT. Break a sweat trying to get mouse through back of desk, far enough down where I can reach it to plug it into the PC. Finally get it and everything looks back to normal.
The phone rings, I have a tech on the other side say, "Why, you breathing so hard?" I nearly hung up on him.
Can I go home? PLEASE, I swear I will hide under the covers and not come out.
