Roddick Ousted at Aussie Open |
|
Beaten by the Russian Marat Safin. Story here: http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/sports/AP-TEN-Australian-Open.html?hpI have to admit Roddick has talent, but I find his entire persona absolutely disgusting...and I didn't mind the antics of Connors and McEnroe back in the day.

His new coach...Gilbert (?) really had him focused last season - U.S. Open time... He's also matured as a person so I don't agree...he's so much better behaved...

It's kinda like the comparison between Clijsters and Henin.
Kimmie's got power, Justine is all about finesse.

6. Yeah, I won a few bucks on that one |

Safin was a 3/1 underdog in Las Vegas, so I took a shot on a great talent like Safin managing one of his "up" days. Remember how he crushed Sampras in the US Open final a few years ago?
I agree, Roddick is a typical modern day basher, no McEnroe brilliance whatsoever. And whenever I see him on a talk show he's got more shakes and hyper energy than anything interesting to say.
