3. I'm on the same fence.
It's somewhat cute, but if it was being worn by, say, a 15 year old? Ewwww.

4. I think people who have lost a love one to cancer
deserve a little levity in their lives. Sure, it's a little tacky but so what....

8. Fairly tacky to me
Obviously an important cause but it makes me uncomfortable to once again focus on the sexual aspects of breasts - as if that's all they're good for and as if a woman is less of a sexual being without them.

Okay, I think I've talked myself up to "offensive."

11. I think it's funny and touching
I lost my mom to breast cancer. Kudos to anyone who can face it with a sense of humor.

I think it's great!!!

12. Certainly not for everyone....
but if the tackiness somehow speaks to someone who is fighting (or loves someone who is fighting) breast cancer, I'd have to say "no harm, no foul."

13. I don't get the 'joke'
You remember the phrase from when we were kids; now we use it to battle breast cancer.

I played a mess o' baseball when I was a kid, and I never heard "Save second base."

15. To be blunt...
Fondling a certain area of the body = getting to second base.

19. Oh!
I thought they meant the entire phrase — "Save second base."

18. "getting to second base"
was the euphemism for feeling a girl up... if I recall correctly.

14. I think it's important to recognize
that the woman who coined this phrase was a breast cancer victim. If poking fun was her way of coping, then I say "bravo" to her.

I can't pretend to know, and hope to never find out, what it's like to live with a cancer diagnosis.
