She invented Stupid Pet Tricks, IIRC. She has a pleasant, low, voice and a dry sense of humor. Elayne Boosler is off the hook and her voice tears me to shreds. I know she means well, but today she was ratcheting off on Whoopi Goldberg's remarks about Michael Vick. Instead of really analyzing what Whoopi had to say, she went on a long rant about how Whoopi Goldberg isn't funny! WTF? Is that the best she can do?
Of course, the first time she subbed, she kept consistently mixing up Michigan and Mississippi, which really drove me bonkers (Merrill Markoe wasn't there that time, or she would have corrected her).
