My cat and I FINALLY found our way out of the woods
And it's almost dark. The worst part was that I finally emerged onto somebody's property in my PJ's  (my cat had her usual grey and white outfit on).

If it hadn't been getting dark, I would've gone back through the brush and found some other way out, since by then I was close enough to hear the road. But until I got my bearings it was briefly scary, as I hadn't been back there in years and recognized nothing of the old logging road that used to be there.

And why did I have my pj's on? Because I always do whenever I can :-)... However, I didn't expect to have some new neighbor family or people on the road see me. All I could do was say :hi: to them.

It's kind of funny now, but not at the time....

3. You looked great, I'm sure.
A lot of young women wear pj bottoms on the street. Not my style but apparently it suits you.

4. Nothing like having a cat helping you navigate the darkness
I'm not surprised, given cats' superior night vision. All you had to do is trust your kitty, and that you did.

5. Glad you are okay!
And your kitty cat is okay.

Sounds like a scary adventure. My cat will be the death of me somehow, I'm sure.

6. ...I know a horse will always take you home, but much as I love
my kitties I don't know if I would trust them to show me the way, what with that weird CAT sense of evil - er I mean humor.

Great story.

7. A cat will lead you home, no problem;
but you'll have to slide under a fence, crawl through a culvert, climb up a tree, scale the edge of a wall, jump down through some bushes, and make your way back into the house though the cat flap.

9. Oh I don't know but
I think that's recognized as the standard "looking for the cat ensemble."

10. I wish I had thought of using that
when my astonished looking neighbors watched me wander through their yard.

....I was so embarrased!

11. Your cat doesn't have PJ's?
Poor thing; but I think it's kinda funny that you had yours on. It sounds like one of those dreams where you're in public dressed in your underwear! BTW, it sounds like something I'd do. Thanks for sharing that.

12. Heavens No!... or nothing she'd ever be seen in!
LOL!

My cat has a sort of regal aire about her. Her whites are always white and grey color bright. She claims she chose grey as her primary color due to it's enduring "classic look" and the whites signify her "purity of heart and spirit"... I have learned to indulge her ideas over the years... ;-) (she is now 15)

Although I somtimes question her authority, I NEVER question her beauty!!! :-)
