2. Where?
Are there more?

Can you ship one to me?

Am I being too annoying?

Should I stop now?

5. It was a TJ Maxx score.
I couldn't freakin' believe it, though I guess it does happen sometimes. It was the only one there, unfortunately.

That also had a 6qt Le Creuset enameled dutch oven for $90, which is almost as ridiculous, but I didn't want to get too spendy.

24. You know...
...it ain't nearly AllClad, but $20 will get you a Calphalon hard-anodized nonstick saucepan at Target. I've got a couple, a 1qt and a 3qt, and I can't think of too many pieces of cookware I'd rather have, they're doing me right.

11. Not to rain on your parade...but please make sure it's not scratched
Any damage to the nonstick coating will cause it to leach far more toxins than an undamaged pan would.

And don't use it if you have birds in the house -- you'll kill'em dead.

As a slight recompense for having peed in your punchbowl, here's a post on how to properly season a cast iron pan (still the best egg pan, IMHO)

18. It's not nonstick.
It's stainless.

And I'm gonna join you in a HELL YEAH on the genius of cast iron. Re-seasoning fucked up old cast iron pans has become a sort of hobby of mine. :toast:

I love my AllClad. I especially love the fact that I didn't pay anywhere near full price for any of it.

14. BTW, if you buy seconds or irregulars, you can get some great prices on AllClad
I have a copper-core fry pan that I got for around $25 (normally around $200). It had a gash on the rim that I had to file down, but it cooks wonderfully.

Once or twice a year at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Western PA. The next one will probably be in early December. Worth going out of your way for.

20. You'll be very pleased w/ that pan
I have a 10" stainless fry pan from All-Clad myself, and it's my baby :)

I also got a pretty good deal on All-Clad myself. I work at a certain housewares/linens retailer and our entire All-Clad line went on double discount for employees (25% off then another 25% off the discounted price). I got the 7 pc set (3 pots of various sizes and the fry pan). :D

23. I knew you bought it at TJ's before I read the rest of the thread
I buy a ton of high-end cookware (and bakeware too!) there. You just have to know what you're looking for and able to wait for something good to show up.

25. Some of the stuff I find at TJ's and Marshall's blows my mind.
Yeah, OK, 99.999% of the time it's worthless rubbish, but if you keep an eye out, the brilliant finds reveal themselves. :D

27. WooHoo is right!
You definitely scored when you found that.

I'm happy with my KitchenAid stainless steel, they're induction compatible (for when I finally make that leap) and can sear food well, but would definitely spend the $20 on an AllClad find.
