We use to drive over to Pittsburgh when I was a kid on Route 422 before the Turnpike was finished...

These are some pics of stuff I saw along the way this time...










This was my grandmas backyard and when I was about nine or ten when Daniel Boone was sweeping us back to Colonial times I would come to this old coal mining town and dreamt I was Dan'l himself... Glorious wilderness for a Cleveland Kid...

you know, I used to live in OH, long ago. I lived there from OH to CA back in '76. We lived outside of Columbus, in a small town called Pataskala.

10. better than my result

A few years ago my family and I trekked back up to Palmdale/Lancaster (we lived there from when I was 4 right through the middle of sixth grade <'89-'97>), and I found a fucking Walmart built w/in 5 mins walking distance from the track home our family used to live in.
