I was bulletproof today

Man, what a day - don't know if there was something in the water, or coffee, or what. I was untouchable today. On top of my game. Forgot to check but could've sworn I was walking on air a few times. And the best part is, there wasn't a particular reason. In fact, today being the first full day of college around here (I work at a college) I pretty much expected chaos and stress today. And there was chaos, but I took the stress in stride and everything seemed to fall into place, all day. I'm normally a little reserved with people but today I was just on top of everyone, making people laugh and smile, I felt absolutely no trace of insecurity, and I just put myself out there and it was great :) The women at work must've smelled the confidence coming off of me (I'm pretty sure that was confidence), everyone wanted a piece of me today! I got out of work at a normal time, and felt nothing holding me back as I did so...I went rollerblading by the riverside, the weather was fantastic, I couldn't have asked for a better day. My problems will have to wait till tomorrow.

I swear, I felt I could take a huge deep breath and suck up all the atmosphere around the world... actually I could've, I just chose not to... so you'd better believe I'm going to bottle this up a little, and pass it around amongst friends :)
