1. My dear Heidi!
Wow, sweetie, I have no idea where your summer went!

But ours is still here...

It's getting down to the 70's at night.......x(

I'm looking forward to cooler weather...though yours sounds excessively cool!

2. We live on the "dark side" of Lago Maggiore,
in the shadow of a mountain, so we don't get as much sun as the Locarnese side gets. I think it's about 65 on the other side of the lake this morning. :scared:

I think I'll have to put the down comforter on the bed tonight. Weird. x(

That was one of my favorite days of our vacation years ago...cruising the islands. I LOVED Isola Bella and Isola Pescatore. :D

I haven't seen you in a jillion years!

We live catty corned across the lake from Isla Brissago. (We're actually more directly across the lake from Locarno/Muralto.) :hi:

28. How are ya hon?
I've been around, just stealth posting. ;-)

Been VERY busy trying to fix up our house to sell, and doing all the associated chores that entails. We're moving to Wisconsin, so I'm going up first (start my new job Monday). reprehensor has to stay here and get the house sold.

40 something sounds HEAVENLY to me right now. After trying to fix up our garden in 100 something degrees (with MS, and having to wear my glasses, with sweat just pouring off me, I need freaking windshield wipers!)

:hi:

29. Sendin' you good vibes for moving and getting resettled!
We had some hot-hot-hot days this summer, so I shouldn't be complaining about one chilly morning. I'll be sending you and reprehensor good energy for moving, selling the house and getting perfectly resettled in the new place, okay! Go get 'em!

Ya know because that can happen overnight... Oh wait, you are cold. So it can't be global warming. Hmmmm, maybe god turned the thermostat down before bed? Oh shit, that doesn't work either, I don't believe in god.

Sorry you are cold.. Might be time to find a few blankets and CMW.

14. It applies to both..
They both get mad when don't feed them. Both get mad when you don't provide affection when they want it. Both act irritated when you want affection and they want the dinner you forgot to make for them.

I'm sure your trip will be fine..

I bought a RV. My roommates are letting me park it in the backyard until I finish school. It is already back there I just need to move into it. I never thought my house would have wheels, but my rent will only be $100 per month. I will have electric and Internet but I will have to go inside to use the restroom. It is about three times my current living space so it is worth it. And I can pee outside. And I have to use a ladder to get to my bed. Total chick magnet.

If I have to go to Hannover, I'll be going as a substitute for one of Daniele's clients who is having a complicated pregnancy, and her travel itinerary is already set. I'm really, really not looking forward to working from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and then business dinners every evening.

It just started cooling off here in the last day or so - actually in the low 70's at night. A couple of days ago, it was 112 in the shade during the height of the afternoon. I'll take your 48 degrees at 8:54am ANYTIME!
