Help! I need advice before I go off completely!!! Tenant/Lawyer Advice, if you have it to share.
Does sharing MY private financial situation from a landlord TO A maintenence worker breech a lease?
Privacy rules? Huh? Anything? I'm soooo pissed OFF!!!!!!

He (the landlord) completely shared MY finances with a f**king assw**pe worker who tried to give me shit for
being a single mother!!!!!!!! :nuke: :grr:

He's been a rude MF since right after I signed the lease AGAIN and not just to me but to everyone else living here! He's well known, from what I hear, for being a total asshole abuser to his tenants. I've tried to ignore him for the last seven years but this was the last straw! He told his workers about MY finances and OUR agreement! How dare he and how dare that old fart tell me all about ME!!?!

The rent is paid and that MF had the nerve to mention HIS taxes!!
Like I don't pay any?? And then he said that I was on Welfare!!

First, we do not work for free. It took a lot of trouble and expense to become lawyers in the first place.
Second, before agreeing to advise or represent you, a lawyer has to be sure that it would be free from conflicts of interest. That means knowing your real name and other personal information.

Even giving a little advice makes a lawyer liable for the results of that advice. That is why when I was in private practice I made sure to document the facts of every case as described by the client and to document the advice I gave, usually in a letter tothe client. A little friendly advice can get a lawyer sued or even disbarred.
