The Cure's North American tour postponed until 2008: anybody else taken by surprise?

My wife and I were planning to go see this show in Philadelphia, and she was shocked to discover yesterday that the tour has been postponed until 2008. Neither of us had any idea, and she only happened to find out because she was looking up setlists. Anybody else here have tickets?

Well, we're still going to see Genesis earlier in the week, so all is not lost.

according to their website they need time to finish it. But it looks like you can get a refund or wait till the postponed date. I'm hoping they'll come down by me this time.

We have two tickets for the 19th in DC. omg I'm sad now, we haven't been to any concerts since like June and we don't have any other ones coming up :( And I'd never seen them, my husband's seen them a lot but I never did.

I guess I'm glad I saw this thread. I mean, whatever x(
