7. found on another site:
"What is happening is telemarketers have found a way to NULL out the caller-id field on placed calls, so instead of using standard Caller Line Identity Restriction which will set outbound caller-id to anonymous they just make regular phone calls with a NULL from field. This was meant as a way of getting past people who have Anonymous Call Rejection. "

4. Yep, but I know it was a collection agency.
I would get calls with 999-999-9999 or even my own number would show up. I've finally filed a Chapter 13, so at least the calls have stopped coming.

5. Hmm. I looked up the Skype deal and it looks like that and Vonage may cause the 0's.
Hopefully I'm not the victim of identity theft.
