:woohoo:

I promise to cheer for the Cubs if the Cardinals don't make it though. Everyone deserves the chance to see his or her team win.

3. Hey, the Texans look exciting this year.
And, if the Rockets can keep any more guys from getting arrested, they might be decent.

4. i think Schaub might surprise some folks...
if he can get 2 whole seconds to throw the ball, that is.

basketball is not my cup of tea. i used to be a Rockets fan when The Dream was playing, but never really got into it.

it's gonna be a long September, man.

5. Nah - watch the kids play.
My co-worker who is a HUGH Astros fan is trying to get excited for the future by watching all the young guys.

How hugh a fan is my co-worker? We were at Rudy's BBQ in Round Rock for lunch, and we saw (the not yet fired) Tim Purpura. My man chatted him up, got a picture, the whole thing.

8. Hey, I went from
"NOOOOOOOO!!! DAMN it!" on Soriano's second yak to "All right!" on Kemp's and then "YEAH!!!" on Ethier's.

Plus, I didn't pick it up until the bottom of the sixth because I was arguing about receipts. :grr:
