My pop got me this book for my birthday

It's huge and beautiful, though slightly racist in that inimitable turn of the century way. But hey, just as we can forgive Dr. Seuss his trespasses...

McCay was a genius. You should also check out his earlier comic Dreams of a Rarebit Fiend - it's brilliant

2. Yes!
I haven't seen much of the Rarebit strips, but I -have- seen his animated films. How one guy managed to draw all the frames for the Lusitania short is something my lazy ass will never figure out.
