4. We share the love of hating yellow walls |
|
First thing we did when my aunt moved out and we moved in to my dad's spare apt back years ago was to repaint the damned yellow kitchen.

8. At least his walls aren't BEIGE. God, how I detest BEIGE. It took 4 years after we bought |
|
this house until we could afford to get the outside painted and get rid of the BEIGE paint.

11. LOL, I lived here for one year with egg-yolk yellow walls in my bedroom and hallway. |
|
I hate yellow. I never wear yellow. Even my sister, whose favorite color is yellow, hated that yellow. A few months ago, I had the bedroom painted green and the hallway peach. Both are now more to my liking.
There is still some yellow wall in the kitchen; the rest is the deep ruby red that are in the living room and dining area. I love the red, and am still trying to figure out what to do with the yellow in the kitchen so I can retain the red.

10. Fatty Arbuckle used to own it. |
|
My best friend said ... "Ok now that you got this one, you have to move up to another Hollywood celb that got away with murder ......" I'll keep my eye out on the Phil Spector case. Robert Blake's house could be on the market as well. Since I love Catwoman so much, I won't make a smart ass remark about OJ. Besides, that house was torn down.

Of all those celebs, I think I'd want Arbuckle's old house the most.

12. Thanks ... this is my first house. |
|
Although I'm on the deed for our condo, I didn't know the ol' ball and chain when he bought it.
As Ricky Ricardo said .... "I've got the homeowners heeve-jeevies" right now.

13. Ah, double congrats, then! |

I just bought my "first house" in December. I still haven't gotten over the homeowner heeve-jeevies, either.

15. My husband and I are in the process of buying our 1st house too. |
|
The closing date is September 24. I wish this month would hurry up and be over with already. I hate moving, but this will hopefully be the last time we'll have to do it.

17. Way cool. Do you want to sell those crappy old Craftsmen lampshades in the dinning room? |
|
;) Just dreaming because they would fit wonderfully in my 1917 Craftsman built be my grandfather.
Have fun with it, I know you will.
