Ok, so, this is the most amazing dog ever. I'll post the pics first because I know Ive been teasing people with posts about her but with no pics :D

But without further torture, here she is, Queenie/Lyra, the girl who was almost put down:









She's been in and out of foster homes all her life, but she's really taken a shine to us, especially my fiance. She's SUCH a daddy's lil' girl already it's hilarious :D

So now we're a family :)

3. all three of us were worn out from playing yesterday

it's amazing she only chews what we tell her is "hers". If she picks up a shoe or starts biting on something, we say "not yours" and she just drops what she has and goes to find her chewie bone. It's awesome.

13. I am boycotting the movie

simply because the books were *so* good I don't want them tainted.

I especially don't want to see any bad CGI polar bears. Like, if they're going to do it right they're going to do the WHOLE battle between Iorek and Iofur. The WHOLE battle. :evilgrin: And if they do the WHOLE battle I don't know how they can avoid an R rating, ya know?

Those books are the bomb. Dare I say better than Harry Potter (in some ways)? :P

With HP it's hard to read the books and not see the movies, which I think is a bit of a loss in some ways. :(

14. i know your concerns are real, but New Line Cinema is handling this and they did GREAT with LOTR

So I am VERY optimistic on the movie's quality--and the cast looks great.
