9. The last one is my favorite
Reminds me of Mount Vernon, Ohio and Circleville, Ohio.

Any idea what kind of trees those are?

11. My dear wildhorses...
#2 and #5 are the best, IMHO!

The others are OK....sometimes something that catches your eye and that you think will make a good picture...

Turns out to be less interesting than you thought it would be!

I happen to love pictures with strong lines from front to back, or from top to bottom...

The extreme vertical shot is one that a lot of people don't do...

So I always look for it...

You also want to check out the backgrounds...The first pic is good, but the background is distracting...

You have the eye, sweetie.....you will improve!

13. Cropping is certainly possible!
That's one of the advantages of having a digital camera...

It comes with a computer program that should allow you to do that...

Talk to the folks in the Photo Forum for better advice!

I have cropped mine, some of the time...as needed...

Patience, sweetie......none of this happens overnight!

what kind would you suggest? i want to take night shots, also. i am leaning toward a canon. i like the way they feel in my hand.

16. Any of the major brands are reliable...
Canons are good cameras...

Again, take your questions to the Photo Forum...

They are waaaaay more expert than I am!

Night shots are very tricky, and require the ability to keep the lens open for a while...

I have never done such a shot!:scared:

22. A pic thread there is a good idea...
And then include your questions along with it!

That's what I would do, anyhow!

Good luck with the night shot camera!
