Poll question: You're driving up behind someone going 20mph too slow.
The lanes on either side are clear.

Are you the type who follows them for miles, or do you simply whip around 'em? My father was a follower- he'd get behind someone and follow them for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles and miles.... He drove everyone in the family batshit crazy with it. To this day I make it my mission in life to have a clear lane ahead of me and all the idiots behind me, in memory of my father.

So don't mess with me. One way or another I WILL get in front of you, even if it means I have to push you off the road.

Don't think I'm series!!????!?? Try me, bucko!

2. Pass if it is clearly clear
I am not one of those idiots who almost gets into head on collisions while passing though.

5. Pass when it's safe and legal.
Double yellow lines are there for a reason.

7. If lanes on either side were clear, I wouldn't even notice them as I passed.
If they were in the left lane holding everyone up, I'd ram their bumper until their car exploded and burned their stupid, sorry self into a dead little crisp.

Actually I wouldn't, but I'd want to. :)

8. I always pass, assuming it's safe and legal and sensible. If they're in the left lane
on a multi-lane road, I *will* flash my lights at them to get them to move into the proper lane. If they don't get the hint, I swear profusely at them and pass them on the right, since they leave me no choice. I call them a jackass as I pass.

9. Please don't push us off the road.
We had a flat tire. Now we're driving on the compact spare tire. It's not safe for us to go over 50 MPH. We stay in the right hand lane as much as possible, but we have to get into another lane at some freeway interchanges. No, we're not drunk, we're not talking on the cell phone, and we're not just learning how to drive.

12. Which is why I don't do anything crazy like that... you never know
Sure, 99% of the time it IS someone doing something stupid. But there's always the chance that it's that 1% of the time when there's a valid reason.

Well, that and running people off the road is illegal. Who passed that law anyway? Jeez.
