Gawd, I hate making calls to techs that are outsourced.
I am hearing impaired and I have a really hard time with the thick accents. It took me a half hour to re-set my password on my cellphone account because I couldn't understand what the guy was saying. He got so frustrated with me he put me on hold and disconnected me. I had to call back and deal with someone else with a think accent that I couldn't understand. Got my password finally, after the guy spelled it phonetically. Gawd, what a pain in the ass.

1. Worse yet (for me) having them call me about positions I applied for
This week was hell, some guy named Patel kept calling me and asking me questions (for a job at a data center here in CA).

I would re-do some sections on my resume and then send back to him.

His boss (even worse) called me asking if I had ever worked with Solaris...

Hello! On my resume it not only states that in the top section it also notes I am certified as a sys admin and net admin in Solaris, that I have spent 5 years working with it, etc.

And then they ask about my education, and so on and want me to keep adding things to the resume that are really already there.

And all this takes forever because I have to keep asking them what they said and they cannot understand me....

Sigh....I just decided not to send them an email and told them on the phone to send the damned resume onto the company that wants to do the hiring (they are head hunters).

2. Before my Father retired from Lockheed Martin
He always got those headhunting calls. I wish I was valuable enough to have people call and beg me to work for them.
