1. Why not? My friend and I have long thought we'd be brilliant co-Presidents

2. I think your imaginary friend would NOT be a good choice for co-President
Suppose in a sudden moment of lucidity you realized the person didn't exist: what would happen to the country?

9. I would nuke it into utter oblivion, like my other friend, Simba, tells me to do.

3. It didn't work out too well for the Roman Empire.
I can imagine the two Presidents finally being forced to split the country in two, with each of the leaders taking one of the halves. Then the Visigoths and Vandals, sorry, I mean the Canadian and Mexicans would invade and sack the Western US, leaving only the Eastern US to carry on the proud traditions of...er...um...someone help me out here.

6. Rome would have beaten the Visigoths and Vandals, except because they were Italian
they got stuck in reaaally bad traffic at the Coliseum that day

7. That certainly explains a lot.
I always thought it was the obligatory coffee stops that made the legions late for the battles.

8. Gore-Kerry.
Gore was elected president once and served as vice president.

Kerry was elected president once also.

:grr:
