1. My dear KitchenWitch!
How would you like to educate me?

Just why are you hiding?

And why must someone win?

To advance in the standings, I suppose!

:hi:

2. Both teams are 0-2 for the first time in several decades
One of the teams will win the game, but both teams have not done very well (and both were touted in the preseason to be powerhouses).

5. OK!
That I can get!

I don't know why ...

But I just assumed it would be more complicated!

Thanks...

3. I assume that both teams are winless so far this season
And Kitchenwitch is hiding from all of the Michigan and Notre Dame fans.

6. Why are you hiding?
The ND fans are either in bed getting ready for Mass or...never mind.

Michigan fans are calling anyone with a vowell in the end of their last name to see if they'll hit Lloyd Carr.

24. What happened over 100 years ago is mostly irrelevent.....
I'm sure it's nice to have tarnished old trophies like Minnesota rather than have none, like say a Univ. Of North Carolina. But they're completely forgotten by now. Actually, if you polled college football fans and asked them if they think Minnesota or Pittsburg ..... EVER.... won a Championship I'd guess over 90% would say ... no way.

And Florida was barely a state back in 1901. But since the early 80's the 3 Florida school have been in nearly half of all the National Championship Games.

So congrats to Harvard, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, and probably Notre Dame from the above list.

You used to be players in the college football world 50, 75 or 100 years ago. But you ain't... no more.

And BTW,,those numbers are very bogus. I read the list of National Champ teams declared by Bama. Everytime the Birmingham Coupon Shopper Magazine declared them National Champ, they counted it.

16. Hahahahahahahaha
Or..."The Battle of the O'fers"

My prediction: Notre Dame 10, Michigan 3

Cuz Notre Dame sucks, but even they could beat Appalachian State.

23. The best part
is that someone will be going to 0-3.

Ah, schadenfreude. No matter how poorly your own team may be playing, you can always revel in the pain of others.
