Ratatouille - the Movie

What a delightful movie. Yes, animation, but not for kids. The subtlety and the richness of humans and animals and French dishes is a feast for grown ups.

We managed to find it still playing in one theater so could really admire the animation of Pixar on a full screen.

And the dishes - oh, wish I could taste some of them..

1. This is my favorite Pixar movie

and one of my favorite movies this year so far. I literally could not wipe the grin from my face while watching it.

2. Indeed. And by the end, Remy actually looked cute

the way he was standing on his hind feet with his forearms at his belly.. well, he looked too much like the chipmunks at my back yard.

6. One of Pixar's best, and that's saying a lot. Peter O'Toole was just....

There are no more adjectives for Peter O'Toole.

8. go see Stardust, I am just sayin' ....and Ratatouille was wonderful

certainly stands a chance at best animated at this years Oscars, unless Simpsons wins.
