Just out of curiosity - anyone going to watch Brittney on the VMAs tonight

I'm not usually into the VMAs but it'll be interesting to see if she has a meltdown.

7. I watched the first few minutes and it was TERRIBLE!

I figured she would nail it and it would be the long awaited "comeback" (I can't stand her stuff personally).
She looked like she was on some sort of tranquilizers, couldn't even lip sync to her gawd-awful song, and was wearing a trashy sequined bikini thing with fishnet tights.

14. Memo to Sarah Silverman - Saying outrageous

stuff purely for shock value is not funny. Whoever decided to put her on was an idiot. Her brand of "humor" belongs in a Vegas lounge at a late night adult show - not on a music awards show watched by plenty of young kids. Her description of and imitation of Britney's private parts was especially repulsive and nasty.

10. I'm watching the game, so I didn't see it, but TMZ has a 30-second clip of it.

She looks stiff and lethargic, and maybe a little drugged. It looked awful.

11. Train wreck would be an understatement

First she looked horrible in that hoochie outfit. Sure she's got some curves to her but there are ways to flaunt your curves so you look sexy and well Brittney's streetwalker outfit. (BTW, Beyonce, another gal with girls, looked stunning as usual).

The song was entirely lip sync'd so all Britney as to do is keep up and try and look somewhat decent dancing. She hardly did that. The dancers were flinging their arms in circles and poor miss Britt waved her hands like "I have no clue what I'm doing"

She received no standing ovation from the audience - when they showed the celebs they clapped politey at the end.

Britt is a goner.

It's a shame because clearly this gal had talent at one time

12. I've seen better performances at my kid's dance school

recital. It was awful. Cruise talent show bad. Embarrassing wouldn't begin to describe it. She looked miserable. I actually felt sort of sorry for her. My 14-year-old daughter and her friend kept yelling "make it stop" at the tv.

Brit should have known better to go on if she wasn't 100%.

I wasn't sure if she was messed up on something or just that out of shape and unable to dance.

And the lip-syncing was horrible
