Talking Heads fans--What's the name of song with "I'm still waiting"
hook line? I tried I Zimbra on youtube(I remembered it was funked out, but not it)

Heard song in question at the YMCA today. Pretty funky for some art schoolers and a pasty faced Brit. I was really taken by the still futuristic-funk, booty shaking power of it all

Speaking of which, I'm supposing this is on one (?) of the Eno produced efforts. Did he produce more than one? While we're at it , how much songwriting credit does Eno get for this tune, One in a Lifetime, etc? Not only does it sound like him singing in both of these songs, the melodies sound a lot like him in section.

Thanks in advance,

:hi:

4. Damn -- I was going to say that, but I wasn't sure. When I was a college radio dj, I
used to play that song when I needed a bathroom break. The live version was about 8 or 9 minutes long. In the summer when I did my show, there was no one there but me so I needed a long song...

3. I don't think Eno sang on any Talking Heads songs.
"I'm still waiting"? That doesn't ring a bell...let me do some research.

8. Well me too now that I know song title.
When I say sing, I mean doubling up unison parts on the "There was a time/There was a warning sign" (?) falsetto part here
and the unison chorus of Once in a Lifetime. It's those sections that sound to me, AAR, the most "Eno" like.

Off to investigate myself. (Not in that way....)

9. I don't know how I missed that -- "Still waiting..." ! I mean, he only sings that
line about one hundred times in the song! :spank:

10. I see you've got the answer.
I'd recommend the live version that's in the film "Stop Making Sense." It's a good 'un!
