1. People still iron?
Isn't that what the 'fluff' cycle on the dryer is for?

2. I have some linen items that still wrinkle up in the fluff cycle.

13. Yes
the linen can be problematic. I love linen in the summertime though.

3. I'm an "iron the day before you wear it" kind of gal
that way you can put it off as long as you're not wearing the stuff.

That's efficient, don't you think?

But I am doing the whole "back to school" nesting ritual. So I tackled the whole damn thing.

12. How much is a basketful?
I can't stand ironing one item the day before wearing it even though it seems to be the easiest approach. I tend to iron when I can spend an hour doing it while listening to some soothing music. Makes it a more Zen-like experience.

Of course, I don't have a five year old.

15. I haven't done any real ironing in years.
I hang my clothes up as soon as they come out of the dryer. I only use an iron to touch up.

17. ask you anything?? was it wrong of me to send hubby's 'job interview' shirt to the cleaners to be
done professionally instead of hauling my lazy @ss into the back room and dragging out the ironing board and iron???

18. Not wrong at all!
I don't iron my husband's shirts - he takes them to the cleaners. They come out crisper that way.

20. I iron most everything every day!
Even clothing just out of the dryer - a habit from living in Ireland. The dryers there have a ceramic heating element - yes, it dries the clothes, but they're still wrinkled due to no air circulation.

as you know it here. Just loads of heat and bunched up clothes going around every now and again. I even iron sheets for mercy's sake!
