2. My dear Miss Marmelstein!
How cool!

Mine will celebrate 64 years in a few days!

They used to fight so much that I thought that their marriage was a mistake...

But they've been inseparable for years...

Yay for all our parents!

After all......they produced us!

3. Who said it would never last?
HER: They say we're young and we don't know
We won't find out until we grow
HIM: Well I don't know if all that's true
'Cause you got me, and baby I got you

HIM: Babe
BOTH: I got you babe
I got you babe

HER: They say our love won't pay the rent
Before it's earned, our money's all been spent
HIM: I guess that's so, we don't have a pot
But at least I'm sure of all the things we got

HIM: Babe
BOTH: I got you babe
I got you babe

Congratulations....very great!

6. My Grandparents celebrated 62 years last Jan.
Both sides of the family said it wouldn't last. They only knew each other for two months and my Grandfather went overseas to fight WW2 days later.

10. People worked harder at marriage.....
back then. Now not many work at keeping a relationship intact....sad.

Congrats to your grandparents!

My parents were high school sweethearts and were married when my dad had a 4 day pass....my mom didn't see him again for 18 months!

9. Congratulations to your parents, Miss M.
If my parents were still alive, it'd be 73 years on December 8. I well remember their 50th. My father died before they could celebrate their 60th.

13. Thanks....
My father died 15 years ago in July, my mother will be two years in December. It was one week short of her 94th birthday, and it was a mercifully fast heart attack.
