Sarah Silverman REALLY stunk up the joint. It was embarrassing.
I mean really - the thing with the lips? Just putrid. I'm glad she bombed - she hardly got a giggle from the audience.

I've never liked Sarah Silverman, and last night really solidified my feelings. I thought her comments about Britney's sons were particularly distasteful - especially since Britney had just left the stage, and was probably somewhere where she could hear what Silverman was saying.

In my opinion, MTV was complicit in that whole Britney thing. At this point, I'd love to see Spears get her act together, if only to show MTV, Sarah Silverman and the fat police that mean-spiritedness doesn't pay.

MTV had no intention of "helping" Spears' career - they just wanted a trainwreck that people would watch - and they got it!
