Does anyone watch "Rock of Love" -- Bret Michaels' "reality" TV show?

If so, why?

In my mind, there are NO real reasons to waste the time it takes to hear and see these insipid people.

You're welcome to disagree.

Thanks.

1.  Because reality shows are cheap and easy
to produce. And I guess Bret Michaels does as well as any other interchangable rock star. He's a pretty good singer, and a mildy useful tunesmith, but I don't thinke he's series worthy interesting in the same was Ozzy is/was.

12. Google this: American Singing Groups: A History, from 1940 to Today By Jay Warner

Scroll down and you'll see the names of the various singing groups through the decades.

I'll venture an opinion -- the original group names of yesteryear were more kind, descriptive, and romantic than the crap that passes for the bad-ass names these days.

4. I saw 2 gals at the party going off on it big time -- they are obsessed.... but
of course they act like they appreciate it in a sarcastic way -- not for real. Interestingly, one girl is from Wyoming and the other is from Oklahoma.

5. What's really sadly funny
Is that two of the 1980s arguably biggest hounddog ladies' men, marketed that way anyway, are now offering themselves up for public spectacle and selection as they attempt to find a mate.

Bret Michaels and Flavor Flav.

Guess they weren't all that then either.

10. I've never heard of either of them, but then again... I like classical music and jazz.
That's a good thing!

8. I'm betting that there's no way that any of these celeb dating shows
ever ends up w/ the celeb w/ the winner.

These celebs aren't looking for love. They're just looking to make a buck, and the contestants are looking for 15 minutes of fame.

11. Must admit I've been getting obsessed with the HGTV design and decorating shows.
I'm way beyond the dating shows -- although I did watch the first two dating shows -- they were cute! (Although one was a liar -- was that "Joe Millionaire"?)

Trista and Ryan got married! Did they have their baby yet?

13. Because I like to be entertained.
Its not being broadcasted from CNN or PBS - its a Viacom show which is meant to be entertaining. Its not supposed to educate,it was never intended to be a serious show.

14. I never plan to watch it. It happens by accident, but once I tune in, it's like a bloody car wreck.
I can't not watch it...it sucks so bad, it's awesome.

15. While I haven't seen the show, I did used to work with father of one of the girls on it.
He was a big time asshole, so it's nice to know that maybe the thought of his little girl hooking up with some herped out, washed up, rock star is giving him indigestion.
