asking for a raise
I've mentioned twice to the person I contract my work through that I'm not getting enough work and that because of the new way of tracking productivity I felt that I needed a raise to help offset that. I first mentioned it to her in July and again last week. I haven't heard anything back AT ALL one way or the other and I'm not sure how to proceed. I've been working through this company for 9 years now and I loathe change. What do I do next now that they haven't responded twice?

1. Document the request. Be specific about why you deserve an increase.
