It's 1 AM, I'm pissed at GD, and I want to go for a walk. |
|
Should I be more afraid of terrorists, drunk drivers, or skunks?

Well, I don't know....
It depends...
Are you out where you might encounter a skunk? Or a drunk driver? Or a terrorist?
I suspect you'll be perfectly safe out for your walk, sweetie!

All three are likely, sometimes in the same vehicle, if you count drunk shotgun-wielding hunters as terrorists!

2. If I had a choice, I'd hang with skunks. |
|
But, that's just me.
Walking is good.

5. That is true! I'm happy to say that I encountered none of the three. |
|
Well, actually I kind of like the skunks. They are cute, as long as you don't kick them or something.

6. Your biggest threat is from Republicans. |

Hopefully they're all sleeping where they can do the least damage.

Terrorists don't actually exist, and even of they did, they can't find Texas.
Drunken drivers are easily avoided while waking, and rarely venture far into the woods where the best walking is done.
Skunks are much cuter and more fun than either terrorists or drunks, and will not bother you if you don't bother them.
I would be more afraid of falling into a hole in the dark, but it is now almost noon the next day and you seem to have survived.

10. Terrorists do exist in Texas. |
|
They've recently struck again, in fact, forcing my kid to say "Under God" in the newly-altered state pledge of allegiance. Previously they banned gay marriages, mowed down a display of crosses to the fallen troops in Iraq, and mailed out illegal campaign fliers to win elections so they could illegally redistrict themselves more seats in Congress.
Plus, have you ever been to a redneck bar in Texas?
As for them not being able to find Texas, Usama bin Laden's brother lived right down the road from me for many years, until he died in a plane crash out here.

I'm guessing I missed something earlier... Should I be reading GD or the Lounge for this one?
