She wasn't abducted by fairies. She's a very small kid that was either lost or abducted. Nothing good could have happened to her. It's really sad.

too many things that don't fit. A crime expert on TV said how are they supposed to move the body of the child (if they did it) since they were surrounded by the press all the time.

i don't think it was the parents, either...for several reasons. with holding my thoughts at this time to see if anyone wants to state their case for it.

i have not seen any threads on du about it. i am a lizard and i have seen us have proper discourse on serious matters. so, i thought i would give it ago in here.

16. it is hard to get info but, yes --

and as you get tell...it is not easy to approach the subject. such a mystery. although they are not perfect parents (who among is?) i find it hard to believe the theory of the mother accidentally doing harm to the child in a fit of rage. this is the last theory i have heard.

The Portuguese police are under tremendous pressure to close this case, but from all accounts they botched the investigation from the start.

So now they offer the mother a plea bargain that if she admits to the accidental death, she serves two years or less. What an unbelievable insult to a grieving mother.

If hard evidence in a couple of weeks shows the mother to be a true suspect, then I'll eat my words, but so far it looks to me like sheer incompetence and desperation.

My theory is that she was abducted and is no longer alive.

of course that doesn't excuse leaving your kids alone...
But I did hear that since the mother was named a suspect the police have to hand over all the evidence to her lawyer, where before she was named they did not have to .
