NoelMN is telling people I'm pregnant. |
|
My husband took the kids to a birthday party for my FIL and BIL last night. Apparently, Noel was circulating among our relatives announcing that I'm pregnant.
Uhhhh... NO I'm NOT!
I've even told Noel that we're done having children. I don't know where he got that idea from, or if he just thought it was funny to say as much.
Then I started wondering if my belly looks fat or something.
:silly:
I suppose I'll be fielding questions about my purported "condition" from family members, now.
:banghead:

When's the baby not due? What are you not going to call it?
A joke: A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?" "Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."
(Edited to add in-law joke)

But if he starts hinting around that I should get a weave, I will become thoroughly suspicious...

Wishful thinking, perhaps. He's been periodically requesting another sibling for several years.

Although there was that time I let Jack steer the car. It seemed a better idea than trying to steer AND apply my lipstick at the same time.

When my son was four he told his preschool class that I was pregnant. Apparently somebody else in class had a new baby brother or sister and my son wanted one too.
