I played a video game on Monday and my thumbs are still numb

It was at Dave and Busters. A bowling game where you roll this thing that's kind of like a giant mouse ball, you have to move the bowling ball on the screen through a layrinth avoiding obstacles and the gutter in order to knock down pins.

I rolled it so hard both my thumbs got bruised, and I just noticed today that they're both a little numb. Is that normal?
