The neighbor's barking dog is making me crazy!
This dog has barked me awake 3 mornings in a row. They leave it outside all day long in the fenced in patio to bark it's head off. Yesterday was an 8 hour barkfest until 10 last night. I'm guessing the dog got tired and finally went to sleep.

The thing that really irritates me is that the people who own the dog lock it out on the patio and sit out in front of their apartment with the front door open. The dog can see right through the house to them out in front and is going crazy because it is being separated from it's pack and is trying to get to it. I don't blame the dog for acting like a dog. I expect that. What I really hate is that these people have no right to unleash their barking dog on the neighborhood when all they need to do it put the dog in the house and shut the front door. It's maddening at this point because there seems to be no common courtesy with neighbors anymore.

1. I feel your pain. I used to live next to some people who had a terrier that had
a loud, shrill, piercing bark, and of course she barked at everything that moved.

Look into this:

3. Ah, the Barker Breaker.
or at least that's what they called them in the 90s. Not a bad idea. Maybe I can find one cheaper, though.

I love animals and would never deliberately hurt one. I am considering a shovel to the owner's head for not understanding his animal enough to take care of the issue.
