mac people: How do I block an address in mail? |
Right now I'm getting a shitpile of spam from the same address and I'm getting irritated at having to delete it constantly.

4. Doesn't matter if your computer is a PC or Mac. |
You should be able to block it through your ISP. At least, I can through AOL.

7. you can try "Message" in the toolbar and then "Mark as junk", if it's all coming from the same |

but I'm getting so much of it (a message every few minutes, all day long, I come in in the morning and there are hundereds) I'd like to find a way to reject everything that comes from that address.

9. ok i just copied this from the junk mail section |
in mail help
My junk mail filter isn't working If you are receiving junk mail that isn't highlighted in brown to identify it as junk, verify your junk mail preferences.
Choose Mail > Preferences and click Junk Mail. Click "Enable junk mail filtering." Click "Leave it in my Inbox, but indicate it is junk mail" to set Mail to training mode. You can help Mail identify junk mail accurately by marking highlighted messages as junk or not junk. As you mark messages, you "train" Mail about what you consider to be junk mail, and Mail updates its internal junk mail database accordingly.
When Mail correctly recognizes junk mail on a regular basis, you can edit the junk mail filter and click "Move it to the Junk mailbox" to set Mail to automatic mode.

13. You can bring up the Rules pane in preferences |
set up a rule to trash all mail from that address.
You can also click the junk button on all of that mail and then turn on junk mail filtering (again in Preferences).

14. Mark it as "Junk" and then Bounce it |
Highlight the message(s) in question, mark them as Junk and then go to Message/Bounce. This will return the e-mail to sender as if your e-mail address is bad or non-existent. It might take one or two cycles, but it should stop.
