What do you think it should be?

Here is my suggestion:

"We report, we decide, you just sit there and agree with us, DAMNIT!"

In Gainesville, FL, one newspaper was called the "authentic Republican newspaper" to distinguish it from others which favored more Jim Crow policies. Curiously, this kind of branding existed into the late 1890's, reflecting the persistent strength of abolitionist sentiment in that city. In fact, two blacks served on the Alachua County Commission until about 1890.
