I just saved more than I spent at the grocery store! Ask me anything. |
|
Between in-store specials and coupons, I spent $10.80 and saved $12.60.
Here's what I got for less than $11: 6 cans of Progresso soup, 4 boxes of Totino's pizza rolls and 2 loaves of Healty Life whole-wheat bread.
I don't think I'll ever arrive at the compulsiveness it takes to get your groceries for free, but I'm getting better.

Just when I thought no one cared. (Well, except for my husband, who will eat the soup and pizza rolls when I work evenings.)

and my husband doesn't eat that much meat, so that limits our costs. We don't drink milk, but do use cheese, although I'm trying to move more toward soy-based "cheeses."
This year, we had an organic garden, supplemented by weekly trips to the farmer's market. I got so spoiled that I dread winter coming.
