I'm getting my hair cut!!!!! YAY!!!!!

I honestly don't think I've had a hair cut since February. It's too long and the ends are too dry and holding way too much color.

Saturday.... 3:00 pm


I'm pretty glad the woman who cuts my hair hasn't gone to a different salon... I'd hate to think that I couldn't find her.

1. This and your other post remind me of something my mother said

Over the weekend she told me she initially didn't like her new doctor because my mother called to cancel her first appointment because she'd forgotten she'd made a hair appointment. The doctor said, well which is more important, your health or your hair? And my mother didn't like that she said that.

i was like, I'm GLAD she said that. I think that's a GOOD thing for a doctor to say. Could you imagine if the doctor had said, Oh, of course, I understand. For Godsake, get your hair done!

Anyway, even tho you have to wait 11 days to see the doctor, at least you'll go well quaffed!

2. I tried to get into my doc sooner.... she's just booked

If I needed to see someone today, her practice would make sure that someone there would see me... either another doctor or the nurse practioner.

I think you're right about the doc reminding your mom of her priorities. That's a good thing.

3. I had to wait a week to see doctor when i hurt my knee

I guess the Mets and the Giants come first.
