1. I wouldn't take either of them.....
Hard disk space is WAY too valuable!

3. Outstanding! Kanye West is excellent.
All three of his albums are brilliantly produced, and feature great vocal delivery.

50 Cent, on the other hand, is the worst kind of paint-by-numbers gangsta rap. He's the Britney Spears of hip-hop.

Plus, he promised to retire if Kanye's sales beat his in the first week. Of course, he only made that promise because he considered it an impossibility, but one can dream.

5. Fitty's already backed off that promise.

It was reported on NPR this morning... Steve and Rene cracked up when he was reading the script "...Mr. West and Mr. Cent... snicker, guffaw" "Mr. Cent?" snicker, laughter "That's what's written here..." took a moment to regain their composure. I've NEVER heard them do anything like that (I didn't think it was live even) but it was pretty amusing that they'd realized the absurd triviality of the entire story.

6. What's really going to be embarrassing for them is when they split the hip-hop consumer's money...
and Kenny Chesney winds up selling the most albums this week.

7. Is Kayne related to Adam, and surely Adam has more than half a dollar?

8. Any truth to the rumor that Kanye is furious at the Wash. Post review yesterday

Basically called him a great producer, but a mediocre rap vocalist, and criticized the album as not nearly as good as the last two.

10. I agree.
Its not. I liked his second one. But this one seems like he rushed through it.

11. 50 Cent was on Howard Stern today and completely welched on his promise to make no more albums
he said he would continue making them if/when it shows he doesn't have the number 1 album this week.

I think both him and Kanye are egomaniacal douchebags with ultra-overrated talent levels, but 50 probably has fewer redeeming characteristics.
