My meeting with "the Bobs" got moved up to 11

As you may know I got a new job last week and gave my notice at this one. Next Friday is my last day.

So in my exit interview I let loose with everything that I know and feel is wrong with my department, mainly with the management of it.

Yesterday I get a call that the chief main head boss would like to have a meeting with me and the person to whom I relayed all this information.

It was set for 2 but they moved it up to 11. There is a chance that they are going to make a counter offer and ask me to stay on in an oversight capacity. An internal auditor basically. Or I could be completely wrong and they are going to try to see if anyone else has this information OR they might just want to talk about it.

We'll see. It should be quite fun.

It's nice when you can find a cool way to let the mgmt. in the position you are leaving that there are issues they need to address!

there SHOULD be a program in place to report such things. I hear that there is a policy but it clearly hadn't been communicated but,I am told, that it will be.

For one, he has a son with Down Syndrome. Also, he just got married, which is good news for him and not so good news for me. :(

I think that's the extent of my knowledge about him. The data base is not nearly as big as the one for Dan Blocker! :D

then he was off yesterday for Rosh Hashannah.

Work is a little slow and I should be doing house stuff or writing that book I keep meaning to write.... (he he) I've settled instead for playing bass with some folks on the weekends.


Do anything cool this summer? We went to San Francisco for a week before school started... I love that place. Wish I were rich so I could live there.

my kid loved it. It's a beautiful city.
