9 years ago I had to stop contact with my mother and her side of the family. It was a terrible thing, but for my personal safety and sanity, it was the best thing to do. I had to leave behind a lot of my stuff including my cedar chest which had all my high school stuff in it. I've have been trying to find my senior picture and have bothered all of my friends. Only one of my friends said they know they had it, but would have to look for it. It's been over a year and last night she called me to tell me that she found it. I am so happy!! I feel like I had a little piece of myself handed back to me. So, without further ado, my senior picture.



Have you ever gotten anything back after a long period of feeling like you would never see it again?

What beautiful eyes you have. :)

In one of my moves during a very tumultuous period of my life, I lost a set list Rob Zombie tore off the wall for me and the whole White Zombie band signed. Also the drumstick the original drummer Ivan gave to me. I'm still a little heartbroken about that. But it's not like what you're talking about. Getting a piece of yourself back must feel great!
