Tonight's Brew: North Coast 10th Anniversary Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin

Oh my god

I want to freeze this beer so I can skate on it

I want to be in this beer

I want this beer to be in me

If you love stouts, and you love 11%, this is the closest you'll get to Eden.

3. I'll have to recommend that one to my brother
he likes the kind of beer that has some oomph to it. :)

4. White Hawk IPA.
Frankly, I'm not sure what they're on about with this "White Hawk" nonsense, but I'll drink their beer anyways. :P

5. Just had one of those last night
Not a bad brew at all. My initial reaction was I admit somewhat negative, but that is mainly because it calls itself an IPA. IPA's tend to be pretty aggressive with the hops and that is what I was in the mood for but the White Hawk is a good deal mellower than most.

Still and all, once I rid myself of the idea that judging an IPA by how hoppy it is is somewhat unfair I began to enjoy it. Call it a Pale Ale and it's pretty darned good.
