I love cooking weekend

I feel so productive.

So, I went to Petco and got kitty litter

I went to Target and got my "household goods" (laundry soap, bleach, makeup, paper towels, etc)

Then I went grocery shopping.

Now, there's a cake in the oven, there's spaghetti sauce in the slow cooker and I've already cooked the sausages to go with it (making my own homemade "Bertolli" again)

Tomorrow I'm making a roasted chicken dinner (and then homemade chicken stock for pho afterwards), shrimp stirfry (also IQF).

I've got some leftover ham that I froze after a ham dinner. I'm thinking of making like a casserole with a white sauce and broccoli and the ham.... does white sauce freeze?

1. Go you! I'm cooking-less this weekend!

Tonight, way too worn out to cook. The next two days, out of town. While I love being home, my Mom doesn't stock a damn thing I want to cook. S'ok, my hometown has plenty of good restaurants and a new Thai place to try too. :D

2. I love Thai food

Every other week when I get paid I do a big shop and then I spend the weekend cooking, so that I don't need to cook much at night when I come home from work. I also end up making a lot of food that I can take to work for my lunches, which ends up saving me a lot of money.
