Looks like the mods didn't do what I asked them to do... oh well. There's not much to simply disappearing, I suppose! I've been away for a while.

I am heavily involved in a Democratic campaign in Colorado's 4th District. This is the district currently occupied by that great puff of air, Marilyn Musgrave. That great, inflated ego that proclaimed in 2006 that (as our troops are dying in Iraq) that gay marriage "is the most important issue that we face today." (Read and watch it here: http://thinkprogress.org/2006/09/27/musgrave-gay/). She is also the lead sponsor of Congress' constitutional ban on gay marriage (pre-Democratic takeover). She's a balloon begging to be popped. I can already smell the great breeze and hint of peroxide after her deflation next year. It's time for her to go down aflame, our Coloradan Hindenburg in the making.

Otherwise, I'm doing very well. Mr. Writer is doing well. Gandalf and Pippin are doing very well. I'm no longer working at the bookstore, because politicking I am. I'm still preparing for the GRE... I still have a prof who's been aloof... I'm still shopping my short stories...

Also, I finally had a chance to read the small flurry of PM's I received back in August when I left. (Thank you! Many kind words...)

So I'm sorry if I don't respond to you here, but I must return to my bunker. Maybe in another couple of months I'll offer another update, but for now I must focus on what's outside the ether.
