I have slept about 9 hours since Tuesday
Most of that was on Wednesday night, when I had the hotel room to myself. The rest of the time I have shared, and I don't sleep well with other people in the room. I just can't.

I am up here in Minnesota for my grandma's funeral, which is today. The wake was yesterday, which was just weird. I have never been to a viewing before. I didn't get very close because I think it's just creepy.

Anyway the funeral is today. And then I have to endure two days in the car back to Texas with my insane relatives. My cousin thinks he gets to decide when we leave (even though we are taking my car). I want to leave relatively early Sunday, around 8 or so but he somehow decide we should leave around 10. That's just too damn late. I want to make Wichita Sunday night (about 9 hours in the car, more or less) so that the second day (back to Austin) is shorter. I hope to get there before 5 so that I can drive back to Corpus and get there before 9 or so because I am planning on going to work on Tuesday.

Mostly, though, I want to get the hell out of here. My family is driving me crazy. Mankato is not exactly a happening town. Although my aunt did get throw out of a strip club. Don't ask.

2. Well it was an altercation over the bill
Actually it was more of a topless bar than a strip club and it was also the place my grandfather used to hang out in. My cousins had gone in there for a beer, not really realizing the nature of the place. My cousin ordered soda (which was $3) and she thought the refills were free (which I guess they are not in most bars, although in restaurants they usually are). But the waitress never mentioned that so she ended up charging my cousin $9 for her sodas. I actually think the waitress was in the right here, even though she was an asshole. Anyway, my aunt started calling the waitress names and it just sort of escalated. I left when they started yelling.

I mean, it was a strip club. They are in the business of ripping of drunken businessmen.

4. Well it isn't that bad; I am just sick of it
and want to go home. I haven't slept well and really, really want to get home. I mean, what is it with my aunt and cousins? Don't they understand that I have to work on Tuesday and that I have three more hours to drive after I leave their house?

6. My dear alarimer...
You know....it's your car.

Tell them you're leaving at 8AM, and if they're not in the car, then they get to find their own way home...

I mean, really!

Good luck with all this...

You have my complete sympathies...
